I have completed masters of science in chemistry. In India we have 3 years bachelor degree and 2 yrs masters degree, In my bachelor I studied biology and Chemistry and in Masters I studied Chemistry with Organic chemistry as a major. I performed very well in my studies. I am a permanent resident of USA and living in Houston, Texas. I want to take my admission in Medical school here. What I need to do for that.?? I appeared in Toefl and scored 102 out of 120 in Toefl IBT test...Please help.

Your first step will have to be getting your education credentials evaluated for US equivalency. There are a number of companies that provide this service and here is a link to their association web site: http://www.naces.org/members.htm Assuming you meet or exceed the prerequisite course work, you will need to take the MCAT exam: http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/ Once you get your MCAT scores back you will need to apply to the medical schools through AMCAS: http://www.aamc.org/students/amcas/ Good luck with your future.
